European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology E-learning Platform

ESPE e-learning chapters are based on the paediatric endocrinology learning categories. They contain core and advanced level modules on normal development, pathophysiological mechanisms and the latest views on diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. ESPE e-learning users can also discuss topics and clinical cases within an online forum.

The modules are all in english and free to access through simple registration.

ISPAD Clinical Practice Consensus Guidelines 2018

The International Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) gathered it’s Clinical Practice Consensus Guidelines by chapter in a comprehensive set of clinical recommendations for children, adolescents, and young adults with diabetes worldwide! Authors include experts from across the globe and a chapter on limited care for developing healthcare systems has also been developed.

Those Guidelines are edited yearly and new chapters are added when necessary. You can download each chapter of just check the highlights.

Pocketbook for Management of Diabetes in Childhood and Adolescence in Under-resourced Countries

The International Diabetes Foundation’s Life for a Child Programme and ISPAD developed a pocketbook aiming to be of practical use in emergency situations and in clinics. The Pocketbook provides basic background on diabetes in children and clear advice for initial management of diabetic ketoacidosis, initiation of maintenance insulin therapy, complications screening, and other key components of care.
