Assoc Prof Dr Iv Malene

“Dr Iv Malene has been working in Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital for 26 years. She is now a Senior Consultant Paediatrician heading up the diabetes clinic of the paediatric department and the Vice Director of Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital in Phnom Penh. She is also a professor of paediatrics at the University of Health and Sciences, Phnom Penh that she often being invited to speak at national and international congresses on Type 1 Diabetes management.
Dr Iv Malene completed her training in paediatric diabetes under a Swiss program organised by Zurich University between 1996 – 1999. Her passion is driving high standard patient centric care for improved outcomes and quality of life in paediatric diabetes; as well as providing education for healthcare staff and medical students to drive excellence in paediatric care in Cambodia.”
