Dr Lek Ngee is currently a Senior Consultant Paediatrician in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) in Singapore. Dr Lek strives to be a competent and caring Paediatrician. He is a specialist doctor in Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. He is deeply committed to providing the highest quality of clinical care for children and adolescents with diabetes mellitus and a wide range of endocrine conditions. In addition to providing clinical care, Dr Lek conducts clinical audits and research, and teaches Endocrine and Paediatric residents, medical students, and allied health professionals. Dr Lek has diverse clinical and research interests, including the pathogenesis, heterogeneity and natural history of various forms of diabetes mellitus; childhood obesity, growth and puberty; the spectrum and range of complexity in disorders of sex development; and the early-life programming and developmental origins of, and sex dimorphism in, health and disease. He aims to translate scientific advances and medical research findings into clinical practice to improve patient care.
